den Klingonska helgdagen "Day of Honor" gör inte saken
bättre, men Paris
i vägen hade dom kyssts.

"I had mixed feelings about the romance angle, but Jeri Taylor
pulled it off well. I'm happy with it in that we have not just done it
to do it. We only visit the romance if it serves the story that we're
telling. I thought it worked well in 'Scientific Method' in that it allowed
us to see two people kissing with an X-ray machine on, which was pretty
creepy. We'll visit it when it's relevant to the overall story. We're
not interested in developing a soap opera romance with them. They're seeing
each other. We wanted to show that crewmem get together every now and
again. So it's working well."
Roxann Dawson :
"They are really continuing with the romance of me and Paris. They're
pursuing that. We just have to do everything in closeups, and when we
kiss he has to watch out for my belly [eftersom hon var gravid, stoffs
anm.]. Actually I'm kind of surprised that it hasn't slowed down my story
line as much as I thought that it might.
Kate Mulgrew :
"I think they are going to flesh out the storyline about Tom Paris
and B'Elanna Torres, which delights me. I'm mad for Roxann
[Dawson] as an actress, and I think they're wonderfully suited
for one another. At this time it's very important to see these Human beings
developing permanent relationships, or deeply felt relationships. I'll
tell you something that didn't work - babes on the Holodeck don't work.
In my opinion, babes don't work, but maybe that's because I'm not a babe
anymore! Do you know what I'm saying? I think that might be
part if it, so I have to be careful to choose my words and be very honest
about what I'm feeling. I'm a 42-year old woman, so that has passed for
me. Maybe that's part of it, but I don't think babes and Star Trek win
the day. Sex and romance always do, if they're beautifully and realistically
illustrated, but those Holodeck programs have to be re-thought."
Ronald B. Moore, om effekterna:
"We ended up having three times as many visual effects shots as we
had intended. Most of our time was bluescreen hanging in space. We had
to get through the stuff fast. Things that I might have done with a lot
of time would have been little reflections in the faces. They had clear
plastic face masks on, and it would have been nice to put in reflections.
The only time we did that was at the end of the sequence when you saw
the Voyager coming for them."

"Environmental suit"/"Space
suits" konceptet daterar tillbaka till TOS:"The Naked Time",
mycket lite under åren.
'Susan Nicoletti' lever fortfarande ("Twisted", "The Thaw",
"The Swarm" och återkommer i "Hunters". Spelas
av Christine Delgado),
likaså 'Vorik' ("Alter Ego", "Fair Trade", "Blood
"targ", "blood pie", "Grail of Kahless"
(varje gudomliga

dit i post
production.
Roxann Dawson: "We were up, strapped
onto a sort of a teeter-totter, on a tine little bicycle seat with everything
dangling. We were concerned about those suits, which raise your body temperature,
and make you very claustraophibic. The only way you can hear to the outside
world is through microphones. You've got a lot of things to overcome just
to get to what you are actually trying to say in the scene. It was a tough
couple of days' shooting, and I of course just had my own concerns because
of the pregnancy."
Braga: "We actually talked about a runner where Torres was
pregnant. We thought it might be alien. What we realized is that we don't
like to do
serialized stuff. We like each episode to stand alone as much as possible.
We knew that if we got Torres pregnant, it would take over
the show. You would have to keep talking about it. Then the baby would
be born. We'd have a baby on Voyager, and before long, the show would
become domestic. So we opted to just ignore it. She had on some bad customes
to hide the pregnancy. We went through the same thing with Gates McFadden.".
avsnitt i denna säsong :)
(ser man sen in i kirstallkulan ser man att dom gick emot sig själva
när dom drog in Naomi i serien. Och ser man ÄNNU längre
fram så blir
Torres gravid några år senare)
